BIV And REAC Agree To Cooperate To Improve Professionalism

On 08/07/2020 BIV achieved yet another important milestone as we had a constructive meeting with the new REAC board that recognized us as important stakeholders in the regulation of our profession.
Our reflection of the meeting is that it was an important launchpad for the determination of the roadmap to improve professionalism in order to contribute meaningfully to the social-economic development of the country. The road ahead will be steep, unchartered, and will not be without challenges.
It was agreed that deepening cooperation will be required in order to promote valuation standards in the public interest. We indicated in clear and unambiguous terms that BIV seeks to restore the credibility of the valuation profession and unite all valuers in this country.
We also express our gratitude for the righteous gesture by REAC of building relationships for high performance.
